Well kickball was fun…thanks Gabe for setting it up with your buds…considering that we played the 1st game as soon as we got there, I thought we did pretty well, even though we were thrown right into a game. I’ll put it this way, we didn’t embarass ourselves, there were alot of outstanding plays made on our side.

We definately had a chance at winning that second game.  Defensively, if we had played more games like the other teams, we would have had a more cohesive unit.  Instead we were not always on the same page.  Next year, I think we should plan a practice/picnic at least 1 or 2 weeks before the tournament.  Although, January and February can be a brutal time of the year to picnic.  Either way, one day of practice would totally payoff. 

And don’t lose those shirts and hats…we had awesome uniforms, thanks again to Carol and Paul. We looked like the damn Mean Machine of Kickball.  I might put red numbers on the back of mine.  If anybody knows somebody who does that let me know. Also, I think some of us had several friends who really wanted to play, but couldn’t because of the short notice.  A little more lead time, might field us that second team that Gabe(aka Al Davis) oh so wanted.
