Nailin’ Palin, The Crank Call

In case you haven’t heard it yet…here’s the full recording of the crank phone call made to Sarah Palin by a Canadian comedian. What’s so great about this is that she never figured out it was fake. This guy was saying ridiculous things throughout the call and it kept getting worse and worse.

McCain Wins!!!

Ahhh but it was just a bad dream produced by Elaine. Hahaha…very funny. If only you people knew how depressed I was after the election was STOLEN from us in 2000. With all the questionable activites regarding Florida’s (Republican) Secretary of State and the GOP’s mob tactics at election offices…uuuurggg, I don’t want to get started.

Election of 2000 recap

Motorcades Don’t Lie

With 9 more days until the General Election and all the news outlets looking for different ways to gauge public sentiment as to who they will choose for President, I would like to add this observation into the mix. The Candidate Motorcade. I think if you compare McCain’s motorcade to Obama’s you can clearly see who the majority of people want to be President. It seems as though people can’t wait for Barack’s Presidency to begin and for McCain to go back to one of his seven homes. See for yourself.

The McCain Motorcades

It’s like a funeral procession…

The Obama Motorcades

These were shot in Leesburg, Virginia, where according to McCain advisers, the REAL Virginians live and who will support McCain come election day. Hmmmmmm… I have seen other Obama motorcade videos and they’re all pretty much the same, crazy crowds that hug and kiss each other after Obama rides past them.

And just for laughs, checkout what happened during Sarah Palin’s motorcade…

I normally wouldn’t condone these acts of civil disobediance, but in this case, I don’t mind it much, Palin is a moron. However FYI, if that were the motorcade for the actual President of the United States your ass is getting runned over, so don’t do it. The Secret Service sets a minimum speed for the motorcade on city streets and freeways and they will not deviate from it. Because it’s better that “Joe the Plumber” (who’s not gonna like who becomes President) goes to the hospital than the President himself.

Ron Howard’s Desperate Plea for Your Vote…

See more Ron Howard videos at Funny or Die

Dear Ron,
Nice video. You probably won over about a few thousand votes with your Back to the Future feature. How about winning over another thousand more by promising you will never do that again. Creepy.

“Thumbs Up”
Starting on the Monday after Election Day and every Monday after that we will be showing a new series starring Das’ friend David Cho. Das sent me a copy of his video and it’s hilarious. The show is basically about David and his nephew Harry traveling across the country without any money. Just think, Jackass meets Dirty Jobs meets Rick Steves (the PBS travel guy). Each episode is only about 5 minutes long and I’ve placed the first episode here for you to sample. If you like what you see, tune back in on November 10th for the next webisode.

David is also an artist. Check out his timely painting and what he wrote about it on his blog.

Nostra-Bama?
MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann reported last night that his high School history teacher, the late Walter Schneller, from Hackley High in Tarrytown, New York, was in charge of the guest speaker program during the 1990’s. Olbermann said, “…(When choosing a speaker)Mr. Schneller cast a wide net seeking interesting people with diverse and compelling backgrounds no matter how obscure at the time.” For Black history month in 1991, Mr. Schneller found a 3rd year law student from Harvard University.

And in the next edition of the school newspaper following that presentation, Alicia Yagodo reported, “…throughout his speech…(the speaker) emphasized that change is possible…” She went on to write, “…the core of his ideas was that, as the nation comes out of the conservative, money-hungry, and cynical atmosphere of the eighties, it needs the idealism of a socially conscious generation coupled with actions to fulfill idealistic goals…” Hackley Review, Spring 1991.

The guest speaker was, you guessed it, Barack Obama.
